There's a spot called "the Cut" that runs from the Eastern market in Detroit down to the river that is supposed to have a lot of graffiti...and I want to go there, but I' sort of scared too....

I could find some graffiti if I went into the city, but we don't have any here, either. And I'm glad! (Although I've seen some pretty good artwork in downtown Los Angeles.)

Love the treatment you gave this shot. I always admire when others find a way to best showcase their shots. I didn't know where to find graffiti in my nearest town, there's none around here or in the village. I had to ask others to point me in the right direction. Have fun with the Spotlights!

Graffiti is an offense here and not many places one can find them, as they are quickly removed by the authorities if there are around. But we do have commission graffiti and a place where youngsters can do the art without being penalized by the authority.

Love, love, love, that you have part of it in color and part in black and white. Great effect because it really makes the graffiti POP!

in richmond there are actually maps you can get to the graffiti..they def have some amazing street art...

Cheryl, what a beautifully expressed post! Reading your words put a huge smile on my face and warmed my heart.

When I first starting blogging back in 2006, I never even imagined what powerful and meaningful kindred relationships I would form over the Internet. Even today, it still amazes me. Last November when my mother passed away, the support and love that I received from my blogging friends through their kind words, was what got me through the whole experience.
