Dear BlogHer: Thanks for the adventure and I quit

The folks over at BlogHer who host NaBloPoMo must be busy getting ready for BlogHer11. Why else would they neglect to create a badge of honor for those of us who completed July's daily posting challenge?

Because I sweat blood to post daily to complete this damn-fool thing, I took matters into my own hands and made a couple. Anyone who completed this insanity in July, please feel free to grab the one that best suits your feelings about your experience. If neither expresses your attitude, then by all means make your own silly badge.

Those of you who've been hanging around for awhile know exactly which one is going up on my sidebar.

If you're new around these parts, first let me welcome you to my little corner of insanity. To figure out which of those badges is going up, all you need to know is that my tongue is semi-permanently stuck in my cheek.

NaBloPoMo is secret BlogHer code for National Blog Posting Month which is a knock-off of the ever popular October semi-serious writing challenge NaBloWriMo (National Blog Writing Month). For those of you looking for a way to waste 30 or 31 days of your life help you become more subservient to your blog reconnect with your inner blogger, you can head on over to the NaBloPoMo site to sign up any month of the year. How cool is that????

A very special thank you to Brian who showed up every day in July, listened to me whine, and posted his famous "smiles" comment. The man is a mite teched a blessing.

8 thinkers thunk a thought:

  5. I'd have to go with "damn near drowned" if I ever made a one-month commitment to anything other than, possibly, waking up before noon.
